So for the sequel, we swap an actual jungle for an urban one, and Arnie is replaced by Danny Glover. At least the baddie is the same - only this time, we immediately know what's going on and what to expect. Therein lies the problem: there is no suspense. When I was younger I always hated _Predator 2_. Rewatching it as an adult, I don't think it was fair how bad I thought it was. It's not that _Predator 2_ is crap, it's just that it's **so much worse** than the original (one of the 5 best movies ever made), that it comes across as such a massive disappointment. Very undervalued sequel suffering because of the first films success. Los Angeles is imploding with mayhem as gang wars fill the streets, an under pressure police force try to restore order, but both parties have another foe to worry about, a Predator is in town, and he's about to up the ante. Gone is Arnold Schwarzenegger, gone is John McTiernan, and gone is the jungle setting, so following
