The movie starts off with promise... It's an alternate view of the same timeline (start of the invasion) as seen in the the 1st movie, Skyline. It's good to see things from the perspective of the people on the ground in the heart of the city as opposed to being in the apartment complex. It even has the similar good feel of the initial movie. Thanks to a much better cast and the fact that things actually happen over the course of most of the runtime, _Beyond Skyline_ is a far sight better than the original _Skyline_. But I cannot go so far as to say that it is, in and of itself, **good**. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
