This is maybe not one of the better of the fourteen outings for Messrs. Rathbone and Bruce, but it's still a thoroughly enjoyable watch as "Holmes" and "Watson" have to get to the bottom of a mystery that involves a series of apparently unrelated killings linked only by the fact that each victim has a severed finger. No "Lestrade" this time, but Matthew Boulton is "Insp. Gregson" who together with
