Mehdi “the Leopard” is released from prison after seven years, only to find Ghasem and his gang standing in his way — they have shut down his gambling den and driven the neighborhood to desperation. Mehdi helps an old woman, and her granddaughter Maryam — whose father is in prison — asks Mehdi to pretend to be her father in front of her friends. Mehdi agrees, and the two gradually grow fond of each other. Ghasem and his men plot to kill Mehdi, and after failing in their first attempt, they kidnap Maryam...
