From the hell of an Iraqi jail, Giwar Hajabi (Emilio Sakraya) emigrated to Germany as a young boy with his family in the mid-1980s and has to start right at the bottom. A celebration of criminality featuring Arab and Turks in Germany and beyond. Great acting, great on-site scenery spanning Europe and the Middle East. An epic sweep of events, but of course we must have some moral reservations about the influence of this work on children. WHERE IS THE GOLD?
