Uldis Dumpis (born October 3, 1943, in Riga, Latvia) is a Latvian stage, film, and television actor, as well as a poet and translator. He has been a member of the Dailes Theatre since 1962 and has appeared in many Latvian and Soviet films, including The Long Road in the Dunes, The Fisherman’s Son, and Dangerous Summer.
