Lefevre joined CNN in 1983 as a Correspondent in San Francisco, and soon promoted to Bureau Chief. He has reported for KDFW-TV, Dallas, KFMB-TV, San Diego, TechTV and KPIX-TV (CBS owned) in San Francisco.
