Sibylla Oarcea was born on September 15, 1943 in Timișoara. She graduated from the "Institute of Theatre and Cinematography Ion Luca Caragiale" (IATC) in Bucharest in 1967, in the class of prof. Alexandru Finți, asst. Sanda Manu and Lia Niculescu.
