Michael Kaufman is an American cellist born in 1987 in New York City. He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree and a Performer's Certificate from the Eastman School of Music. He earned his Master’s and Doctorate degrees from the University of Southern California. Kaufman is a founding member of the chamber music ensemble SAKURA.
