José Mariano Díaz Duarte was born on September 7, 1992 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to guatemalan parents. He grew up in Guatemala City, at age 17 he started his studies in Communication at Rafael Landívar University. He started his career in 2010 appearing in several local television commercials, but his first major acting role came up in 2013, in Erick Gálvez's 2+1 (2014).
