Biography

Ron was a singer and a bassist who played with many country music legends, most notably George Jones. He was George's bass player and background vocalist for over 25 years, and also sang duets with him on stage. He was known for his powerful voice and his ability to harmonize with George like no one else. He wrote and recorded his own songs, such as "Chip Off The Old Block", a tribute to George Jones. show more
