Teri Peterson was born on November 6, 1959 in Santa Monica, California. She has three sisters. Teri was already a highly successful and in-demand fashion model prior to becoming the Playmate of the Month in the July, 1980 issue of "Playboy." Peterson subsequently posed for a handful of "Playboy" special edition publications.
