He is an Iraqi critic, actor, and director, one of the founders of Iraqi FM radio. He is also a distinguished photographer and artistic archivist. He has been honored at numerous film festivals, most recently at the Abu Dhabi International Festival. He has participated in works such as "The Cellar", "The Palm and the Neighbors", and "Drama, a Half-Sentence".
