He gained prominence through his work in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), where he managed The Backseat Boyz—Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere. The Backseat Boyz became CZW Tag Team Champions in June 2000 under Dewey Donovan’s guidance. Later, Donovan continued his wrestling journey as a freelancer, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
