Yeah it's an Alien rip off and the monster isn't as good. But there are a few things that it actually did better, as far as the characters went. The big lacking is the, well... I notice that various people criticising the film for blatantly copying Alien but I say so what, for what it was I thought it was alright, I was never bored of the film and it did have an interesting plot.
